I love them [In reply to] Can't Post

Particularly Bofur. Just very likeable and I love the way he was written. But I loved Balin too. He's got that good grandad type thing going on.
But then again there was something I loved about all the dwarves (minus Nori really because I got nothing out of that one). Every single one.

It's really maybe the thing I love the most about the movie. Every dwarf is so different from one another and I'm curious of seeing more of all of them and arrg. So much love for them (and Bilbo and Gandy of course)!

Ken Stott has been a favourite actor of mine [In reply to] Can't Post

since I saw him in this. Well worth a look if you ever see it. He is a wonderful actor.

I only realised in recent times when looking it up that a very young David Tennant was also in it.

Another one for the Balin fanclub :) [In reply to] Can't Post

He was perfectly cast and delivered every line perfectly. I think there was an audible 'aaww' from the audience when he appeared at Bilbo's door the first time I saw the film - he's physically really quite 'cute' Evil

"...under all there was a great joy: a fountain of mirth enough to set a kingdom laughing, were it to gush forth."
