The Hobbit 3D, 2D [In reply to] Can't Post

Having seen it in Real 3D 24fps, I thought the 3D was correct but not ''over the top''. It didn't challenge Avatar on that regard which I've seen on the same format in 2010. So I am a bit disappointed of that because I kind of expected it as a film who has been shot with 3D camera and even proposed the 48fps format. Anyway I am not really a 'fan' of 3D movies. It cost more and the result is not often there. I intend to see The Hobbit in 2D next week for the second viewing which I am still not sure if it's necessery..

Really? [In reply to] Can't Post

Man, that sucks! I love seeing it in HRF, but only intend to see it once more in that format. Then I'll be going back to 2D, simply because it's cheaper (ie, I don't have to pay for the glasses that I have to return).

sorry to hear that you don't get that. Is it in the entire UK? Are there any other cimenas you can go to that show it in 2D?

I didn't mind the 3D much [In reply to] Can't Post

But I preferred it in 2D. It's much clearer. Although, I did love Bilbo's buttons popping off his waistcoat in 3D.
