Now, "pictures" might be a stretch, but "renderings" would be more accurate. Anyway, I know were to see them in glorious detail, even detail of how some of the actual pieces would go together. And I have my son to thank for finding them.
In the LEGO LotR game (ours on the Wii), at some point you unlock the 'million stud level'. That's a level that seems to be on all their games, where you basically roam the 'land' and destroy everything! You need to accumulate 1,000,000 studs to complete the level, so you really do end up flattening about 98% of the place.
Well, in the LotR game, this level also shows lots of things. You see Frodo's home (Bag End), which looks exactly like The Hobbit lego kit. I imagine they just took the "plans" from their set-design computer, and 'plugged it in' to the Lego game. There is also Helm's Deep, Weathertop, the Mines of Moria, and much more.
There are also a LOT of other things that we DON'T have kits for, yet - like Rivendale, the Black Gate, Minas Tirith, and more! Now, I haven't taken the images given and compared them... yet... but just glancing at that Elrond kit looks suspiciously similar to the Rivendale stuff in that million-stud level.
So for those that have the game, perhaps someone else can check and see if they agree with me - that there are a lot of hints at things to come...!
