The most impressive beard in 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' Can't Post

Just for laughs-which character has the most impressive beard in The Hobbit part 1?

Personally I vote Gandalf out of a sense of loyalty, but Balin, Bombur, Oin and Radagast get honourable mentions.Laugh

p.s. Bolg counts even though his beard isn't technically his (a poor Dwarf has been scalped).

Sorry, I couldn't help it - I voted Kili. I'm feeling a tad mischievous today Tongue

But in all honesty, I'm indecisive as to who has the best beard. I like Fili's and Thorin's facial fuzz for the intricate plaits and rings. And Bombur has an impressive beard/plait too.

I thought Balin had a very good beard, I liked Thorin's as well!

I voted for Fili [In reply to] Can't Post

I don't like beards, but I do like scruffy.Wink

I realize that's totally missing the point of your poll, though. So I'll say Balin.

Fili, Bombur and Radagast [In reply to] Can't Post

I love the plaits in Fili's moustache. Bombur's looks like a rope and Radagast has bird poop in his!

between Bombur and Balin, but Bombur won out by sheer amount. ^_^

Fili for looks. He really looks like someone straight out of SoA so he gets points for being bad ass. Sorry for a double vote, but I also really liked Balin's beard simply for the fact that they left off the mustache which made him look that much more expressive.

Ha ha Kili. [In reply to] Can't Post

5 o'clock shadow does not a beard make. And why doesn't anyone talk about the fact that he has to shave, or at least use clippers, to keep that Miami Vice stubble? At leat Thorin has enough beard to have to use sheers on his.

Balin definitely has the best beard, though. It's forked! Besides, he's my favorite of the dwarves.
