I'm not criticizing government guidelines, admins, or anyone who enforces standards. I do the same quite insistently in my own realm - as an admin, for one. I'm criticizing human nature, the need for enforcement, and euphemisms; i.e., people. I don't use the words myself and I'm not going to fight for the right to use disallowed words here. But I do observe with some detachment the silliness of it all and that name calling and other such offenses, and the reaction to it, continues well past Kindergarten, circularly feeding the offense into effective use - meaning, words are only as effective as the reaction to them.
