It's amazing [In reply to] Can't Post

that the doctor caught it so quickly. Such very good news!

My sister [In reply to] Can't Post

had a tough time with treatment for breast cancer and later reconstruction, and the after-effects of the medication have lingered, but she *has* got better and stronger and healthier - it just took longer than she was prepared for. Don't rush your recovery, and keep in mind that you will feel better down the track.

Best of luck, sinister.

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

I was having what seemed like bad indigestion [In reply to] Can't Post

occasional vomiting, and heartburn for a while. So I went to the doctor thinking it was indigestion or something simple but when nothing seemed to work he dug deeper and found the issue. My wife and I are very thankful he did... My wifes mother died from breast cancer that spread to her bones almost 3 years ago. So this has been a very difficult time for us. I really wouldn't wish my last year on anyone.

It sounds horrible [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm glad to hear you've made it through! It must be such a relief. Like Ataahua said, take it slow and don't try to rush it.

Sounds like you have a good Dr [In reply to] Can't Post

Many would have just tried to fob you off in the UK from my experiences.

I dont know how bad but it must have been awful to go through it but it must at the same time be so great to know it was caught early and you are still here!

My grandfather has prostate cancer that spread to his bones, he has accepted it about as well as i think a person can, he is 82 so quite an old man now which for him i think makes it easier to take. I am going to see him over xmas as i am travelling home. Should be quite emotional i imagine!

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.

when my mother in law got diagnosed [In reply to] Can't Post

they gave her 6 months and she beat that by 2 years so I wouldn't hold any stock in given timelines. But once it gets in the bones there really isn't much they can do from my understanding.

I've had the same dr now for going on 12 years so he is pretty good. Not one of those just in it for the money. But with all the specialists and everything else I have been having to deal with, the bills have racked up. At least i am feeling better, Bald but better Wink I'm hoping the hair will start growng within the next few weeks would be nice to see some stubble before the new year Laugh
