Gandalf [In reply to] Can't Post

How long was he in Middle-earth for? And he only died once from a Balrog. Wink

Gandalf [In reply to] Can't Post

(Spoilers) His dramatic entrance into Goblin Town is an assurance of his victory.

"Radagast is, of course, a worthy wizard, a master of shapes and changes of hue, and he has much lore of herbs and beasts, and birds are especially his friends."-Gandalf, The Lord of the Rings.

Who? [In reply to] Can't Post

Where are these men from, are they soldiers or just fishermen?

Haha [In reply to] Can't Post

I was just thinking this when I saw the matchup. A simple blast, and it's a safe bet Gandalf has it. Although he only uses magic sparingly. I don't know if he'd be able to hold off all 1000.

1000 men, with ease. [In reply to] Can't Post

The men would defeat him, in the hobbit Tolkien wrote

"Then Gandalf climbed to the top of his tree. The sudden splendour flashed from his wand like lightning, as he got ready to spring down from on high right among the spears of the goblins. That would of been the end of him, through he would probably have killed many as he came hurtling down like a lightening bolt."

So if a raiding party of Goblins would defeat him, so should 1000 men.
