He was one of the Dwarves escaping from Smaug at the start... [In reply to] Can't Post

Not sure which one though, Philippa Boyens said in the Empire film podcast.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve. - J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

I forgot to look too [In reply to] Can't Post

But I'm seeing it again tonight so I'll have to look for him.

When the dwarves run out of Erebor [In reply to] Can't Post

There's a close-up of a black haired dwarf running and looking over his shoulder. That's PJ.

He did say in an interview [In reply to] Can't Post

That he is helmeted in costume, so it was hard to spot him.

I don't think he mentioned wearing a helmet [In reply to] Can't Post

Just a lot of prosthetics.

I can't believe I keep forgetting to look for him [In reply to] Can't Post

Next time I'll really have to try to catch it. But I always get so sucked into the prologue.

I keep staring at Thror's beard [In reply to] Can't Post

That beard decoration, along with those two giant hammers pounding metal together are the two best "awesome without lingering to point it out" moments in a great prologue.

Seen it twice now, and both times forgot to focus on the dwarves escaping to find him. I also keep noticing "hey, a dwarf woman!" as they run out which doesn't help.

I know the guy who played the dwarf in the scene with the big hammers [In reply to] Can't Post

I've been meaning to ask him to maybe do a little Q&A here, even though he only was in two scenes Smile
