Maybe they're waiting... [In reply to] Can't Post

Until a completed form of The Fall of Gondolin is published Heart

Ok, so that's not going to happen, but I have no clue otherwise.

There kinda is a completed tale [In reply to] Can't Post

The tale of Gondolin put together the seperate parts into one story with his own additions so many consider it to be Fan fic. I guess it is really but i would still like to read it to see how he has combined it all.

Here is a link to a page explaining it better:

Oh its expensive, very expensive especially for fan fic, lol.

Not very much more fanfiction than the Silmarillion!

I made my own translation into Danish from Sil., UT, BolT2 and various sources years ago, trying to level the achaŽism in the texts. Took me a winters spare time (well, I did CoH too). I feel the result was very good. Had some trouble with what to do with the Dragon-machines and the hordes of Balrogs, but I think I solved it reasonably. Could be fun to compare it to the Tale of Gondolin, hopefully it will be published soon, I'll be 103 when publishing rights run outEvil

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.
