Bolg (spoilers)?

So I just got back from seeing the movie (absolutely loved it!), and I know this is something that has been discussed before. Conan Stevens is not credited, yet during the Battle of Azanulbizar flashback I swear I saw him get knocked out by Thorin (or some other dwarf). It was a 2 second long shot, but it looked exactly like him. If I'm right about this then I hope we get to see more of him in the extended edition. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Did you see it in 48 fps? If so...did you like it?

My friend was very stubborn and wanted to see it in 2D 24fps, so that's what we did. Will see it in 48fps this weekend

How did it look in 2D 24fps? Does it look like it belongs in the same universe as PJ's LOTR? Were there any weird looking visuals? That's what I'm wondering the most about. While I am really interested in how it will look in 3D and 48fps, my main concern is how it looks in 2D as that's how I will be viewing it when it comes out on blu-ray.

More colorful than LOTR, but fits into the same universe. There's a scene with some wonky CGI (which will probably look even worse in 48fps).

Which scene? If you don't want to spoil everyone then just PM me. I don't mind being spoiled!

It appears I am right about him being in the movie, but wrong about him not being credited

I was just going by what everyone else have said, but looking at IMDb he is indeed credited.

First, the film was good. Not great. I actually didn't feel like being back in the middle earth we know from TLotR movies. Something about the visual aspect just seemed too vivid and clean. The opening and all the way up till they leave the Shire completely blew me away. My favorite opening of any of the movies, so far. But then it just seemed to be too much.. Peter Jackson I missed some more fleshing out of the characters. I missed costumes and prostetics (too much CGI). Will answer some questions about 48 fps briefly. It is remarkable! Looks so amazing. The 3D is the best you have ever experienced. In HFR 3D it just seems like such an integrated part of the movie. I can't say if it's what I prefer though, as I will have to see it again before passing judgement. Well.. I am very tired now. Will try to be more clear after some digesting and some sleep.

Not quite nothing, it just means somebody, somewhere put his name in there. They don't get the info from the film or studio or production company or Conan Stevens. IMDB is NOT official in any way.

Studios usually submit the final cast list to IMDb close to release

A while ago several new actors were added, and names such as Persbrandt, Bloom etc were removed (only Pace remains, and he's in the movie). Cumberbatch was left on the cast list, and the Necromancer appears for a couple of seconds. And a load of names that were originally credited ended up as uncredited (goblins, elves etc).

Just bellow Manu Bennett. So it is really Bolg in those shots. And I even think he is fighting a young Dwalin, but I am not certain... There are a few dwarves wearing a mohawk.
