for an 8 day trek. Then I read the details - rails and hotels will be used throughout. I'm a little disappointed. I really wanted to know what Tolkien's journey was like, including the groping fingers of the wind and the discomfort of sleeping outdoors. Though, I'd like to pass on the ice boulders rolling down the glacier and nearly taking out the party.
