If one were even more irresponsible, one could speculate that this is in fact Dol Guldur, and that elves lived there before Smaug attacked and drove them underground, which could explain why the bridge, gate, and overall shape resemble the location the wizard is approaching at the end of the trailer, and why the place is in ruins.
