On my local news, they showed a bit about this. They said that the paint weighed about as much as an average passenger. But I guess they can more than make up for the extra cost in fuel with all the extra business they get with all of LOTR and TH fans visiting ME. Ahhh, maybe one day I'll make it there, too. 
I am there in my head. My kids want to live in Bag End, many thanks to PJ for bringing ME to life
