I finally saw the green tint for myself. It's definitely there and more noticeable in certain scenes than others, like people have said. It's a shame that it had the biggest affect (at least in my opinion) on the Shire scenes. Especially because you can tell that they did some nice new color grading in some of those scenes (I especially like the enhanced warm/golden glow the early scene with Bilbo writing his book has now, it really matches up well with the look of the Hobbit) but it's all covered up with that green tint. It doesn't ruin the movie for me. It still looks great overall, and I'm obsessing over all of the details that I've never really noticed before in the background of a lot of shots. It was worth the ten dollars, but I'm hoping that somewhere along the line they'll finally release a fixed version.
