I have to admit.... this is a discussion with a slant I wish I hadn't stumbled on ;) Mercy!
I accept hobbit feet the same as I accept orcs chirping like chickens, an army of the dead becoming scrubbing bubbles, and Wraiths riding on the backs of flying lizardy-pterodactyls. It is, afterall, a "fantasy" world ;)
I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.
