These actors sound like they aren't quite "unknown", [In reply to] Can't Post

just maybe "unrecognizable to a broad audience" ... at least until now Tongue

Kili [In reply to] Can't Post

What's funny is that Kili looks much more character-appropriate in real life than he does in the movie! Look at that beard and drunken look on his face! I wouldn't want to get in a bar brawl with him!!

His eyebrows are very much the only dwarf detail that makes me shudder [In reply to] Can't Post

I dunno. Just the idea what he must look like without the up-do. And just... Yuk. I'll take an axe in the head any ol' day.

where you might know them from [In reply to] Can't Post

I felt that they skipped a few things- for instance, Balin (Stott) is in Rebus (as Rebus)

The description of Dori... [In reply to] Can't Post

Dori is "the strongest dwarf"? Stronger than Dwalin? Hmm...interesting.

Does seem odd, doesn't it. [In reply to] Can't Post

I think Dwalin "appears" to be stronger - but perhaps he's just more fiercer. In the book, Dori is described as the strongest Dwarf as well - perhaps they've messed up the descriptions?

Balin second in charge. [In reply to] Can't Post

Interesting.Smile I thought maybe Bofur was.

We are more connected than ever before, more able to spread our ideas and beliefs, our anger and fears. As we exercise the right to advocate our views, and as we animate our supporters, we must all assume responsibility for our words and actions before they enter a vast echo chamber and reach those both serious and delirious, connected and unhinged.
