hoping the load lightens for everyone affected very soon! [In reply to] Can't Post

So many heartaches from all of this...I know the only choice is to just pick up the pieces and move on, but it doesn't make it any easier for those of you who were in the line of fire from this storm. Wish I had a direct line to the Valar like Arwen did for Aragorn, but some good wishes of cheer and support are about all I've got to offer...

Hang in there and know that many here on TORn are thinking of all you guys impacted by Sandy!

sorry you are going through this [In reply to] Can't Post

Sorry you are going through this. I really, really hope for you and everyone else who would be affected that the second nor'easter doesn't materialize.

I'm sorry, Dernwyn! [In reply to] Can't Post

What sad, sad news. He and his family, and Geeky Son and you, and everyone else who is mourning this young man will be in our prayers.

"Yes, but what about SECOND breakfast?"

That's so wonderful!! Thank you for that :) I can't stop smiling! It's the simple things....

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.

Thank you, everyone [In reply to] Can't Post

I learned later that this young man had a heart condition, which was known to his family, but he still had insisted on helping them; Geeky Son said that was the kind of person he was, always ready to lend a hand. Apparently he might have survived the accident, but it brought on a heart attack.

I feel so sad for his family! Life is short: give hugs! Heart
