During this First snow Storm
Hunkering down with my Cats
Aragorn&Arwen
I've doing a Movie Marathon.

Noticed something Wonderful.
Passion from the Cast made it
So wonderful since little things
like World-Class Cast&Crew really
Sweat the..little!.. Details.

So that said
I'm standing by Bomby's position

These 3 will Change Cinema History Again.

To me
this is a

I hope you're right Bomby. [In reply to] Can't Post

I really do. I'd love to see PJ and Co. succeed in recapturing the old magic.

BTW, yesterday afternoon for about an hour or so whilst doing other things at home, I flipped back and forth between TTT and RotK, both of which were on TV. It was a slightly surreal experience watching both films simultaneously (even while being distracted with chores ETC), but it was amazing to be enveloped again in PJ's ME in such a way, and I was continually struck at how GOOD it was! Here's hoping for a repeat with the new trilogy. Smile

My Top 5 Wish List for "The Hobbit"
5. Legolas will surf down Smaug's neck
4. Bilbo will be revealed to a Robot
3. Naked PJ cameo as Ghan-Buri-Ghan
2. Use of not only 3D, but smell-o-vision, plus the inclusion of axes coming out of the seats and poking the audience when appropriate
1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!

The magic will be there [In reply to] Can't Post

Just from what I've seen and my overall gut feeling. I really think this will be every bit as good as the trip is through lotr. :)

. . . but this is one of them.

I make a point to watch the EE bonus discs of the three films once a year. The passion they show for their work from Weta to the stunt team is something so rare . . .

This truly is how all people should view their work in their daily lives. Bring PASSION into the work place!

But yes, after watching the EE bonus discs from all three LOTR movies, I dare a person to think the Hobbit will be anything but great! (Although, Weta Digital does always seem to be under a ton of pressure Wink)

Don't be hasty.
