BBC's 'Merlin' - new series, vaguely spoilery. Can't Post

Apologies to those of you who can't watch this, but... oh dearie me, derivative, or what?!

Morgana, bad lady sorceress, is now residing in something not entirely dissimilar to Isengard, with her own little band of Uruk Hai to keep her company, and slave labourers busily undermining the foundations in the search for - something important. Also in these caverns dwells a being who would seem to be a cross between a glow-in-the-dark Gollum, and a top secret little grey visitor from Roswell. Morgana goes a-hunting for Arthur and Merlin, who are hiding Hobbit-like under a very familiar-looking tangle of branches while she looms above in Black Rider pose.

Laugh? You can bet I did! Looking forward to the next episode to see how many references I can spot.

I agree! [In reply to] Can't Post

Plus Morgana is searching for a lost talisman, a key, that will give her power. Arthur and Merlin get separated from their friends and someone thought to have been a friend betrays them in order to help their father! Looks like the eagles oops sorry the dragon will help them escape in the next episode too.
