There is a reason why people are queuing here ;) [In reply to] Can't Post

Hopefully I will be queuing soon!
I don't want to let anybody in Norway see the film before me!
Or else I have to live in the forest until I've seen the film Tongue
(I basically live in a forest already, but inside a house)

I avoid queues [In reply to] Can't Post

by not going in the first week, then choosing days and times where there are as few people as possible. I like to choose my own seat and I dont like crowds. It drives me crazy when there is a whole line of popcorn munchers, texters and whisperers behind my head, I like space and silence, IF I won the lottery I would get my own home cinema with those mega comfy recliners and super surround sound, and a huuuuuuuuuuge surround screen the full monty. or maybe a holodeck.

I'm pretty happy with our system. [In reply to] Can't Post

I can imagine wanting to see a highly anticipated movie and scalpers snatching up all the prime seats beforehand. I'm more than willing to show up early to get good seats the day of versus fighting for them online or at the box office.

But you are what you love,
And not what loves you back.
And I'm in love with illusions
So saw me in half.
I'm in love with tricks
So pull another rabbit out your hat.

4k [In reply to] Can't Post

Is the resolution or display standard of the film...4k is aprx. 3 times higher horizontal resolution than 'Full HD' or 1080p (in norwegian/swedish). Full HD is 1920*1080 (this is the number the 'p' refers to. The p stands for 'progressive' scan) resolution ( standard resolution on you pc screen is typically 1068*768). 4k resolution is 4006*3072.
