At an advanced screening you get to watch the film before it officially opens for the general public [In reply to] Can't Post

I presume this is a day or two before it opens. Normally they're very exclusive Smile

Yup, they're pretty much private showings. [In reply to] Can't Post

That's how reviewers and journalists see the movie and have their reviews ready to go on release day. You have to be someone or know someone to get tickets.

Alright, but what are the "advanced tickets" [In reply to] Can't Post

That are going on sale on Nov. 7th? Tickets for opening night? Sorry to ask so many questions, I just haven't been involved with all the hype before a big movie comes out before. Blush Usually I wait to see movies I'm waiting for on opening day rather than opening night.

The advanced tickets are for the opening night (or day, depending on cinema) for AUJ [In reply to] Can't Post

They're not for this advanced screening. Smile

Thanks for the link! [In reply to] Can't Post

Keeping my fingers crossed!

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
