Draw your letter openers! [In reply to] Can't Post

Has to be Sting. The other endings are quite neat in their own right, but I like Balin's comment best.

Sting, but... [In reply to] Can't Post

mainly because of Elrond. Yay, more Elrond :-).

The 'letter opener' conversation was good for showing some character personality, but somehow it reminded me of the "that's not a knife" line from (waaaay back) "Crocodile Dundee".

Maybe it was just me...?

The Dwarf [In reply to] Can't Post

I especially appreciated the naturalness of the actor's conversation with Bilbo. It was well done. It made me look forward to more of him. So while the line was funny, the scene is among my favorites because of the interaction. I've seen complaints that few of the Fellowship actually had a conversation with Frodo that seemed anything more than talking at each other. I'm hoping this is a sign that Bilbo and the dwarves will be talking with each other.
