Ziggy Stardust

I will be wearing [In reply to] Can't Post

a pair of skinny jeans, my plain black shirt, and maybe a denim vest or my hooded jacket. As long as it's not raining or snowing, I might wear my green elf boots. They were made by the Arizona Co. and they look like elf boots. The only problem-they can't get wet. In my pockets will be nothing, because I'm afraid I will lose them.

Thanks for the topic Bomby! It's so fun and lighthearted, a nice break from some of the heavy debating that's been going on over the movies.

I'll be going to the midnight show [In reply to] Can't Post

in my Hobbit costume. Although, I'm putting ideas together for a new "Hobbit" film costume. I plan on getting tickets for the first few viewings as soon as they go on sale at least 2 weeks before Dec 14!! *twitch*

In my pocket will be tissues (I know I'll be emotional), and my ticket stub...

Oh geez.... I'm getting so nervous!

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.

Be sure to call ahead [In reply to] Can't Post

After what happened in Colorado, there was a lot of talk about theaters banning costumes at movie midnight showings. Those who are planning to go in costume should call ahead to the theater and make sure costumes are allowed. That might have eased by December but it's best to make sure rather than get refused entry at the door by security (and you know they're going to have a lot of security).

The costume pictures look great!

I've never [In reply to] Can't Post

liked the idea of the one ring replicas but one year my husband bought us matching silver one rings for our wedding anniversary. I acted like I liked it (it is a pretty ring) but never really wore it. Recently, my granddaughter found my husband's ring & put it on a silver chain so I may wear that under my clothes or put it in my pocket in his honor (he died in 2010 & was a big fan of the LOTR movies).

A bucket of tar [In reply to] Can't Post

I will have a big bucket of tar in my pocket. As soon as the film starts, I will pour it all over the screen. Then they will not be able to show the film anymore. Everyone in the cinema will bow to me and say: "Thank you, Noel, for saving us from this heresy!"

In my other pocket, I will have a spiked zucchini. Just in case anyone in the cinema is in the pay of Peter Jackson and will exhibit violent behaviour towards me, I will apply this item gently to their foreheads.
