The Lord of the Rings 50th Anniversary Edition Can't Post

I just recently acquired the 50th Anniversary Edition of The Lord of the Rings, and while it is the same story, I've been told the text is updated and there are corrections, and additions. What is the difference between the 50th Anniversary Edition and the 'regular' editions?

The things I like best about that ed... [In reply to] Can't Post

...are the fact that this is the book that Tolkien wanted: all one volume, his cover design, red text in critical places, the Book of Mazarbul paintings, and all the other little touches. The corrections are nice, but less important (to me, at least).

Thanks [In reply to] Can't Post

I was just curious, cause I didn't think there needed to be any corrections. Tongue But Tolkien was a perfectionist.
