My Trip To New Zealand! Can't Post

Hey, I'm new on the site but found out about this trip folks are planning to go to New Zealand for the premiere just recently.

I'm actually going to New Zeland for a year from the start of November. I'm from Ireland and have dreamed of going for so long. My very own adventure. So when I saw that this trip was happening I knew it to be fate.

I'm, like the rest here, a huge Tolkien fan and the films drew my attention to New Zealand. I've been wanting to go for years and now I am.

So my post is for this: come the night of the premiere and the party, who should I be talking to so as to catch up and tag along in the almighty festivities that will be had? And should I bring elven ears ;) ?

Please and thank you,
Migbin (it's actually Ed)

Wonderful! [In reply to] Can't Post

I will be there on the trip, and look forward to meeting you. There will be a separate announcement about tickets to the specific events for those of you lucky enough to already be in NZ. Watch the Home Page and this board for the announcement.

This is going to be an amazing trip. Smile Elven ears welcome!

Welcome! [In reply to] Can't Post

Definitely keep your eyes on this board, and the Home Page, for all the up-to-date information as things get finalized.

Best of luck on your 'little' adventure! Smile You'll love Middle-earth.

Howdy and Welcome! [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm so envious and excited for you to have a full year in NZ! That's fantastic!! I was able to go for just about a week and am still homesick Wellington :) Such a wonderful place!

I'm afraid I don't have info for you about the Premier, but you'll definitely have plenty of aid in plenty of time :)

I'm so glad you've made your way here! :)

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.

Great! [In reply to] Can't Post

Going to meet you there. I'll be there just for the festivities (I'm flying in from Amsterdam, so we are somewhat from the same side of the world).

I've read on Facebook tickets for the party will go on sale August 1st. But I'm sure TORn will get all the full details for you.

I'm totally envious of you going there for a year. I would love to go that long. But my job (and age) don't allow me to go for a full year. I hope you have a great time. Where will you be based when you are in NZ?
See you in Wellington!
