SDCC The Hobbit Invisible Bilbo Figure, its amazing! Heres a few quick pics. Can't Post

I caved in to temptation a few weeks back and brought the SDCC Exclusive Bilbo figure from Ebay. It finally arrived today, all the way from the US, its had a long journey! Im not going to open it, as the whole thing is too nice to open. But thought i would share a few thoughts and pictures of it with you all. Even if its still in the box. Wink

Its a lovely little thing. The box it comes in is really nicely made, with embossed relief details around the edges and raised 'The Hobbit' text on the front. It makes it feel like a book or something that would be on Bilbos shelf. Also theres a nice little gold sticker on the back, showing the issue number of your Bilbo. Mine was 1036/3100.

The box opens to reveal what seems to be the cave where Bilbo encounters Gollum for the first time. The figure itself is amazingly detailed. Although i havent taken it out of the box, you can see the figure through a window, and its great the amount of detail and items Bilbo has on him. Hes carrying all sorts of bits and bobs, and seems to have a water bottle with him, in the other hand he has his sword Sting.

Took a few quick pictures so you can get a better idea of what it looks like.

Overall, im really glad i picked this up. Would be amazing to get it signed by Martin Freeman one day! I hope the rest of the toy line for The Hobbit is this quality.
