He was a big guy no denying that, im only 5'11'' so he would totally dwarf me. I looked at some other photos of him and i think the ones on wiki dont do him justice, making him out to be more tall, like you say he is basically massive in every way. If you put a beard on him and the clothing described you pretty much have beorn right there.
I was just interested to know if there was ever any proof of his claims of strength as strength isnt based on height though due to his big frame i am sure he was extremely strong. But a 2800lb lift is getting on for 3 times stronger than any man has lifted, still totally wish i was him, haha!
Another person i think has a frame like i imagined beorns is the one time worlds strongest man magnus samuelsson, he again has a big frame and is very muscular but not ripped like a bodybuilder and has not taken steroids so has a more natural but massive look. Though he is 'only' 6'5'' so alot shorter than Angus.
