Favourite Dwarven name, Can't Post

What is your Favourite Dwarven name.Wink

Mine is Alrik.

We are more connected than ever before, more able to spread our ideas and beliefs, our anger and fears. As we exercise the right to advocate our views, and as we animate our supporters, we must all assume responsibility for our words and actions before they enter a vast echo chamber and reach those both serious and delirious, connected and unhinged.

Bombur. I just like the way it's pronounced. And... [In reply to] Can't Post

it even sounds like a name for someone a little more than fat.

Just really sad what happened to him and his petty dwarf people, even if they are traitors (to turin et al)

Azaghâl [In reply to] Can't Post

The Old Norse names sound good too, but I really like the sound of Tolkien's more Middle-Eastern names, if you allow me. They have this wonderful strenght to them. If they were fabric for clothes I'd say they feel nice and ruffy under my touch. I assume Azaghâl is Khuzdûl, which I have always loved, as I love Valarin (to which it's somewhat related.)

At its heart, heroism is growing adult. Growing adult is defying the fears gained in childhood.

Well, we know he's married [In reply to] Can't Post

...and if his wife's name turns out to be some variation of "Goldberry"...

...and if he's prone to humming things that sound like "dum-dillo-o"...

...and if they throw in a scene which shows him trying on Bilbo's new Ring, and not going invisible...

Shocked!
