It would be close [In reply to] Can't Post

In terms of rulership, King Elessar would have it all over King Conan of Aquilonia. However, due to his almost inhuman strength, ferocity and stamina, I think that Conan the Barbarian would defeat Strider at least three times out of five.

"Darkness beyond blackest pitch, deeper than the deepest night!
King of Darkness, who shines like gold upon the Sea of Chaos.
I call upon thee and swear myself to thee!
Let the fools who stand before me be destroyed by the power you and I possess!"

His skill is similar but his strength would overwhelm Aragorn.

Depends on where they fight. [In reply to] Can't Post

In the arena, Conan's strength would likely prevail. But in the woods, Aragorn would slip away and ambush Conan.

"... and hear the lamentation of Arwen!"
