well I not a huge 3-D fan I think it isn't going away. At first I thought it was going to be just another fad.

As there is so much future technological potential for it. This is the second advancement of 3D (from red and blue glasses), imagine another 10/20 years time when we will have glass-less 3D, 3D TV's at home will be in most (western) homes etc.

I won't replace normal films though. Producers will still make 2d films and they still will appear in our cinemas.

Guessing future technological advancement is incredibly difficult, but I think we can make some accurate guess-timations.
