This picture was born out of a deep emotional response to the loyal and enduring friendship of Frodo and Sam, and a newfound appreciation for the movies and books of J.R.R. Tolkien. It was this year that I was introduced to the world of LoTR. I started reading The Fellowship of the Ring, then I watched all 3 extended films, and am now reading The Two Towers. In addition to themes of bravery, courage, goodness vs. evil, I am deeply touched by the unconditional love shared between these two characters. I particularly enjoyed this scene toward the end of FOTR, in which Frodo and Sam spend a heartwarming moment of reflection before walking towards Mordor. yes, I am very much struck by the very close friendship of Sam and Frodo too. It's very tight and has a pure quality about it. This is a wonderful picture of Frodo and Sam. Did you draw it? You get a sense of purpose here a friendship worth dying for I would say. Your thoughts and opinions will be most welcome on the rest of the forum as well.

Yes I did draw it. And thank you for welcoming me to the forum!
I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C. S. Lewis ~~ Frodo: “I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.” Gandalf: “So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
