Lee's artwork is best seen in the flesh - [In reply to] Can't Post

- as it were; that is, in books, calendars and posters. They do not look their best on a screen (quite apart from the question of copyright).

Posters of Alan Lee's works are available; they're not expensive. Images such as those to be found on the Polish site can be found in books; eg Alan Lee's edition of TH; and Doug Anderson's 'Annotated Hobbit'.
