Oh no!! Mint chocolate chip ice cream is the bomb! [In reply to] Can't Post

A real diet buster for me. Love it love it. But admittedly, not for everyone.

I virtually shake hands with you about the licorice, though.

Beans. [In reply to] Can't Post

Black Jack Gum is a favorite.

Double Zout candy when I can find it, which isn't often.

The wife of a friend makes homemade erk sous which is quite tasty cold.

Did someone say LIQUORICE? [In reply to] Can't Post

Wait, what are you guys doing throwing it away? D: Criminal!

Salted, unsalted, black, red, smothered in chocolate, I love 'em all.

Salted? Covered in chocolate? [In reply to] Can't Post

I've never even heard of those options... well maybe the chocolate one...

but pretty much all the licorice I eat is Strawberry Twizzlers (the two pound bag - it's so economical!)

yeah...salted licorice? [In reply to] Can't Post

I hadn't heard of that before either! I only used to eat red licorice for some reason, and I have no idea why because I love the flavor of anise. So now, I enjoy both, but not very often...it's a very special treat.

I love licorice! [In reply to] Can't Post

I grew up eating Panda brand licorice (sorry for spelling licorice the American way... much like aluminum vs. aluminium.) I think twizzlers are disgusting, like plastic. But really good quality licorice is awesome. I'm not fond of it with salt, but then, I'm not a salt person anyway.

Twizzlers! [In reply to] Can't Post

Red, fersher! I love nibbling on them when I'm on long walks. Those... and apples!

as far away from me as possible [In reply to] Can't Post

I have never liked the taste of licorice. Or anise, or fennel, or dill. (shudders)

However, I do eat deglycorrhized licorice when I have heartburn, because it stops it cold. I kind of retch as I'm doing it, but it's worth it.
