Custom Numenorean Action Figure Can't Post

I don't know how many of you collected the LOTR line of figures that Toy Biz put out for a few glorious years, but I certainly did! I loved the line but there were a few gaping holes that I feel needed to be filled. One of those holes was that TB never released a Last Alliance Numenorean soldier from the Prologue of FOTR. So, I set out to make one of my own.

It's taken from many different pieces of other TB (and random) figs and sculpt and paint. it's a 6" figure, in case anyone didn't know what scale TB worked in.

Rather than resize a bunch of pics, i'm just going to link them here:

Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!!

How long did it take you to make this? It's great!

Nice job! How long did it take you to make it?// [In reply to] Can't Post

Some who have read the book, or at any rate have reviewed it, have found it boring, absurd, or contemptible; and I have no cause to complain, since I have similar opinions of their works, or of the kinds of writing they evidently prefer.

Thanks! [In reply to] Can't Post

Thank you very much!! I really appreciate the compliments. As far as time goes, it's hard to say. I worked on it sporadically for about two weeks. It worked out to about an hour or so per day... so somewhere around 10-14 hours. I have some other figures that I may post over the next few days. They are a bit older and the quality wasn't nearly as good.

I'm also working on some new ones!

yep! [In reply to] Can't Post

I kept hoping they would too... then the line just sort of stopped. There was no real warning. I think it could have easily gone on for a few more waves. If they'd gone into "expanded universe" type of territory, they could have had nearly as long of legs as Star Wars.

Thanks for the compliment!!

Fantastic! [In reply to] Can't Post

Thats a great piece of work! Looks fantastic and the paint work is superb.

Makes me want to have a go at making a custom figure.
