Weaponry of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North Can't Post

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Snowblind Studios invite you delve deeper into the weaponry of the upcoming 2011 video game The Lord of the Rings: War in the North with a new action-packed video. The video reveals the in-game fellowship of three fighting fearsome foes – from colossal spiders to towering trolls – showcasing the variety of weaponry available to the heroes along with a few comical endeavors from the Snowblind team.

From staffs and battle-axes to swords and arrows, the team at Snowblind is creating a wide cache of armaments for players to use in their fight to protect the fate of Middle-earth. Combat Designer, Ian Scott, explains the goals of weapon design, as they create armaments geared to inflict maximum damage on enemies that look cool, feel great during combat, and fit seamlessly into the world of Middle-earth.
