Bag End Can't Post

Late last year, Entmaiden started a thread collecting thank yous to PJ and crew for fighting so hard for the Hobbit. I was asked to do the illustrations for the thank you letter. I decided to theme the illustrations around 'An Unexpected Party', the first chapter of The Hobbit. All the little food items scattered throughout the letter are items mentioned in the chapter, and, of course, the final illustration is from the Professor's wonderful map in the book.

The cover of the letter is Bag End, as you can see in the link above. I have a larger version of Bag End right over here, and now that the letter has been made public (and is to be sent... soon. Or is already sent, I have no idea XD), I can now post Bag End here :)

Done in prismacolor pencils.

NARF since age 8, when I refused to read the Hobbit because the cover looked boring and icky.
