Christchurch Cathedral as it was :-( [In reply to] Can't Post

It helps me to see it every day.

And by the way, thank you to those lovely people who have PM'd me and e-mailed me. I am sorry I am so slow to reply. I am doing my best to keep up but feel utterly exhausted at the moment. Your kind thoughts are much appreciated. Heart

...and will be once again. [In reply to] Can't Post

The cathedral will come back - there's no way that Christchurch would allow it not to. Heart

I'm glad to see you here again Starling.

... of the Gandalf Plushie from the WB store. It's waaaay too cute. I'd love to get one, if they still sell them.

I used to do some nannying for a little boy who would say "Hi Gandalf!" when I'd turn on my laptop, then say "Goodbye Gandalf, sweet dreams!" when I'd turn it off.

"Moonfire" by Stephen Lyman. I love his work; he captures the beauty of the mountains.

"Fortunately," he would say, "it's hard to go sleepwalking when zipped in a sleeping bag." [In reply to] Can't Post

That line pertains to this shot

Annael, i thank you for opening my world to this exquisite art of Stephen Lyman. I don't know how i missed this man's work, but it sure is a pleasant surpriZe. I explored around to see a bit of his other work and i think one day i will get a print of his. It seems a cross between two other illuminist (a term i like) painters i really like, Albert Bierstadt and Maxfield Parrish. And it would fit right into the drama of a Louis L'Amour story.

You are a gem:).

most of the time it's some kind of medieval battle or Knights. Some times a image from a film.

It's a perfect representation of my existential angst.
