Sauron is the only bad guy who speaks Hobbit [In reply to] Can't Post

If we follow the assumption that everything in LoTR is written and filtered/translated by hobbits, then the WiKing's words to Eowyn--which Merry certainly heard firsthand--are also full of menace and evil, vs. Sauron's vanilla words to Pippin.

...that Merry heard the words spoken, whereas Pippin's experience was all "telepathic", in his head, and he had to articulate the experience in his own words.
