LOTR on the Brain. (pic inside)

My oldest daughter was goofing around with some candy and showed me this (see below). Of course, my first thought was: THE HUG OF SAURON!
"I haven't any right to criticise books, and I don't do it except when I hate them. I often want to criticise Jane Austen, but her books madden me so that I can't conceal my frenzy from the reader; and therefore I have to stop every time I begin. Everytime I read 'Pride and Prejudice' I want to dig her up and beat her over the skull with her own shin-bone." - Mark Twain

Huge pic, though. Playing with candy, one of my favorite things.

oh...you have seriously got a LOTR brain... then again, so have I so...yes, i see where you got the impression!!! -e_H-
Elven by name, Hobbit by nature 'Road lead ever on and on down from the door where it began now far ahead the road has gone down from where all began' -FOTR- and through all the world has changed the ages come and go with time and yet those remain unchanged unto they journey westward over the sea...

I was happy to just get it posted. I may have to edit the picture prior to posting to get it sized right. Or maybe I should just go back to HTML posting of pics. *sigh* The dull part of change.

That's funny! I'm glad to see you here, I've been watching for you! (Does that creep you out?) Now I can give you a proper smilie with its tongue sticking out! I still prefer this one, though: :̃

I'm a little nervous about trying things. That and I can't spend as much time as I'd like playing while at work. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

I've already spied a few people, you among them, but I haven't replied much because I wanted to get my avatar and other stuff taken care of. I like the old one, too. I'll be using both. I already have, actually. Where'd Rush go? ;o)

"May the road rise up to meet you." I pictured someone tripping and falling flat on their face.

gramma! I've seen you in the distance here, but I'm just getting back into the swing of things. These boards are cool, are they not? I've been mostly lurking to get the feel of them, but I'm out in the open now. It feels like we moved from poor hobbit's dirt hole into Brandy Hall! I already feel like I've missed a lot.

I'm a little nervous about trying things. That's how I am, too. I finally made the leap to try out Altaira's really very understandable instructions and got myself an avatar. But posting pictures here (although I had mastered it on old TORN) makes me nervous. Lord Peter Wimsey's Main Squeeze

It's a plot to cover the world in a second dark-chocolateness! (Not that I'd mind...!) *Imagines AdElf unwrapping candy and saying, "We must cast this into the Crack of Doom! Open wide!"*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Still 'round the corner there may wait A new road, or a secret gate...
