It's been a long time since I was here. I've been doing some rough comps for Hobbit images and thought I'd share them. I have about a dozen more scenes from the book I'll be drawing soon. These are just 1st or 2nd roughs, all the problems haven't been worked out or very much detail put in and I haven't decided on level or realism. Also haven't decided if I should follow the design sense from the LotR movies or completely make them my own. 90% thinking to make them my own but I may make them fit the movies for business reasons. I'll probably paint them digitally at some point and then paint my favorites in gouache or oil.

Those look amazing my favourites are the three at the bottom but they are all great I especially love how you did the backgrounds on all of them they were really detailed!
