Wakatipu Expectations for "The Hobbit" Can't Post

Nothing new here - but a nice article about the Wakatipu area's excitement about The Hobbit potentially filming in their area as Peter Jackson did with Lord Of The Rings. Of course, the likely additional tourism it would bring is part of the area's enthusiasm, not to mention how that would impact other business there. Let's hope we all hear some word soon!

Fun article, thanks [In reply to] Can't Post

But I have to wonder why someone who'd never seen the movies would want to take a tour of the filming sites, as one of the people interviewed in the article says. Unimpressed

Do we walk in legends or on the green earth in the daylight?

A man may do both. For not we but those who come after will make the legends of our time. The green earth, say you? That is a mighty matter of legend, though you tread it under the light of day!
