... to express my gratitude to all the sibs who made me feel like I was present at RCMH last weekend. I've been sending out PMs and mails to everyone who was part of Magpie's "WE WISH EARL WERE HERE" message... quest... thing... but I want to also publicly state just how touched I am that Magpie, in the first place, did what she did to make me feel like I was present at RCMH, and secondly, how honoured I am that so many of you took the time to sign the card and snap pics alongside it. It just really means so much to me, and yet it's a strange thing that all my words seem so dry and don't seem to express my gratitude enough. At all. But, you know, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
"Crows and Gibbets! What is the House of Eorl but a thatched barn where brigands drink in the reek and their brats roll around on the floor with their dogs! You are but a lesser son of greater sires."

in the future Earl. We have two to go as we speak. Who knows what beyond that, what the future holds, but it looks good to me. And it was a honour contributing to your card.
''Sam put his ragged orc-cloak under his master's head, and covered them both with the grey robe of Lorien; and as he did so his thoughts went out to that fair land, and to the Elves, and he hoped that the cloth woven by their hands might have some virtue to keep them hidden beyond all hope in this wilderness of fear...But their luck held, and for the rest of that day they met no living or moving thing; and when night fell they vanished into the darkess of Mordor.'' - - -rotk, chapter III May the grace of Manwë let us soar with eagle's wings! In the air, among the clouds in the sky Here is where the birds of Manwe fly Looking at the land, and the water that flows The true beauty of earth shows With the stars of Varda lighting my way In all the realms this is where I stay In the realm of Manwë Súlimo

You were indeed with us in spirit. I thought of you too. So may times I wished that you could be here....at one event of the other. And I remember once I offered to send you some books and you said no, the postal service is dodgy in my province... And if not next yr, then we'll get you to the ROTK concert, come heck or high water:) (HUGS))
