In one of our previous discussions on this scene, someone pointed out that when Aragorn covers The One Ring with his hand, indicating his rejection of it and any power it would bring him, that we see the Ring of Barahir that he wears, which is a symbol of the power that Aragorn *already* has, through his lineage. I apologize for not being able to find it / give credit to the person who originally stated it. But it was such an important idea, I wanted to share it here.
Great SCOD, and one of the best scenes. Viggo is extraordinary in his ability to convey so much using only facial expression and yet it is never overdone.
