help refresh my memory please Can't Post

I recall there was talk and rumor about a master unedited copy of the movies.

They were distributed to cast members.

It was much much longer than extended versions out now.

Is there any possibility of it being released?

Or was this rumor proved to be false and I didn't see it?

I apologize in advance if theis has already been discussed at length.

I remember it was brought up on the old boards.

I would definitely buy this master version with all scenes in it, even though I already have the theatrical and extended versions.

Thanks!

The cast [In reply to] Can't Post

as far as I can recall, were each given their own discs of the movies, and I think you're right that they were longer "rough cuts". But there were only enough made to hand out to them, so if you ever want to see it, you're going to have to get chummy with Elijah or Sean or Ian or the others!

Aragorn threw back his cloak. The elven-sheath glittered as he grasped it, and the bright blade of Andúril shone like a sudden flame as he swept it out. 'Elendil!' he cried. 'I am Aragorn son of Arathorn, and am called Elessar, the Elfstone, Dúnadan, the heir of Isildur Elendil's son of Gondor. Here is the Sword that was Broken and is forged again! Will you aid me or thwart me? Choose swiftly!' TTT, Book III, Chapter 2

On a similar sort of vein... [In reply to] Can't Post

On the commentaries and extras on the DVDs Peter Jackson and the cast often mentioned a possible future DVD with all the bloopers included, does anyone know if this is going to happen? I just can't get enough of LOTR, even though it's been 5 years since they were first released!
