Mae Govannen all!! Just back from an unplanned vacation, from the internet that is. I Hope all are well. Let's get to it then, shall we? Last teaser's clue was: Elven hero of "The Last Alliance." The answer was: Gil-Galad CONGRATS to: Elenedhel; elf_wannabee; dernwyn; Kelvarhin; Peredhil_lover; Idril_Celebrindal; SmeagoloftheStoors; and Anorien. 2 points to all. This week's clue: Once considered as the site of an exclusive Middle-earth ski resort, this place was considered to be too dangerous, as it was prone to avalanches. Good luck all! Namarie!! PS- I'm totally excited about PJ, Phillipa, and Fran writing The Hobbit!!! In honor of this, next week's teaser (#30!!) will be based on "The Hobbit"!
...The crownless again shall be King!

Never thought of Caradhras as a ski resort, LOL! Did they use the orcs as slalom sticks? Still computer/internet problems? I hope that was the last of it!
I do not suffer from LotR obsession - I enjoy every minute of it.

Prone to avalanches, indeed! Caradhras, that is - or Redhorn, as Men call it, or to those who know somewhat of the Khuzdûl, Barazinbar. But none have ever seen an Elf snowboarding down it (the way Legolas did on those stairs at Helm's Deep).

Caradhras.
"It comes down to the fact that you supply the blue, and they supply the other colors and mix them with your blue, and maybe there's some blue left in the painting and maybe there isn't. Maybe there wasn't supposed to be any in the first place. So have some fun and make a good blue and walk away." -Viggo Mortensen On the role of an actor in film

And turn off the snow machines in the pass of Caradhras!
We're discussing the BBC Lord of the Rings Radio Play on the Movie Discussion - LOTR board. With caffeine, all things are possible. The pity of Bilbo will screw up the fate of many.

Caradhras! I hear that's it's also to be the next site in Middle-earth to host the winter Olympics. Very exclusive, very hard to, considering the mountain would interfere with the games, out of spite and entertainment.
