That's a huge tattoo! And very, very well done!

You must tell us what type of comments you receive XD

I've been thinking about a Tolkien tattoo myself (though a very small one, about an inch big), but I'm deathly afraid of needles so I'm not sure if it'll ever happen ><

It is a big one yes, but i had to get a big one to get all the details in there ;)
I have got mostly very positive comments. Haven't met any huge Tolkien fans yet, but most people seem to know who's on my arm.
The needles used isn't that bad at all, it's not like getting an injection or drawing blood. I guess the main difference is that a tattoo is something you really want versus being forced to do.

Very Good. [In reply to] Can't Post

Whoa, that's really cool and very bold of you to go ahead and get it done! I bet you were skeptical about how it would turn out, well done.

Yes and no. I knew my tattoo artist was good so I trusted him. But on the other hand it's going to be a permanent fixture of my body for the rest of my life. Very happy i trusted him when I saw the result Sly

I instructed my artist to pay special attention to the staff. Gave him a big blow up of just the top of the staff. He did a great job
