From the TORN Humour pages Can't Post

I was reading a thread, and something someone said reminded me of the "How many Tornadoes does it take to change a light bulb?" thread from very long ago. I went hunting, and by the time I came back, I had forgotten what thread it was.

So I thought we could start a thread with our favourite TORN Humour bits for new boards.

Here are two of mine:

“A variant: How many tOR.N-ados does it take to change a light bulb?” 64:
1 to change the bulb. 1 to post that the bulb had been changed. 10 to congratulate the changer of the bulb, 3 to post quizzes related to light bulbs and the changing thereof, 3 to write LotR parodies about light bulbs, 2 to write Top Ten lists about light bulb changing, 2 to pretend to be Kelennar having digestive problems because the light bulb was changed in a way different than Tolkien used to do it. 6 to refute the fake Kelennar's and defend PJ's version of light bulb changing. 3 to speculate on how light bulb relate to Tolkien's mythos, and 33 to celebrate Friday Fiesta in honor of the light bulb’s changing. –Inferno Limericks (thread initiated by Frodo Gardner)

And this one is the thread that originated it:

“How many hobbits does it take to screw in a light bulb?”
by fan14

@ Depends on how high up the light bulb is. –Alnilam
@ At least 50: One to bring the light bulb, 10 to bring the food, and the rest to eat. –Annael
@ none, they don't have electricity in the Shire... –leo
@ Let's not get graphic, guys. –vedhed
(Ah canna help it, Cap'n). It depends how much room there is inside the light bulb. –Narya
@ Three: One to hold the hobbit with the light bulb on his shoulders, and one to spin the two stacked hobbits really fast.

I miss those people... Frown
