Can you beat this number from xkcd? Can't Post

xkcd is an online cartoon appearing about three times weekly, focusing on math and science topics. I usually read it on explainxkcd.com, a wiki, because I need the comments to help me understand it.
Anyway, its creator Randall in cartoon #2636 (June 22, 2022) is counting down the days remaining until his next book appears, using strange and amusing ways of calculating their length. For August 20, 2022, we find this entry:

24 days left (23.82) =
50 viewings of the extended versions of The Lord of the Rings trilogy .
The Fellowship of the Ring is 208 minutes, The Two Towers is 226 minutes, and The Return of the King is 252 minutes, according to FictionHorizon.com

Ow! I hurt my brain! [In reply to] Can't Post

I seriously took a shot at trying to figure this out (a couple of times), but the attempts simply confirmed I was right to retire and not endanger the world with my math skills.

I love puzzles, but this one remains a puzzle for me ;)

I'm surprised at the value for August 14. [In reply to] Can't Post

That it would take only 28 consecutive days to watch every minute of all the Star Treks produced to date!

And thank you for the reminder to get the next What If? on pre-order. Cool
