We will. [In reply to] Can't Post

We walked around an arboretum we'd not been to before today. There was a lovely selection of local and Japanese plantings - but nothing from your part of the world, sadly!

It's definitely a get-away [In reply to] Can't Post

There's nothing like travelling to an island to really get away from everything!

And we're taking it easy. No rushing around (even if it means we've missed a bus and have an adventure getting back on track! Laugh)

You go, gal! [In reply to] Can't Post

What a hassle and a half - but you're getting through it all, bit by bit! That is a major hurdle you've overcome, right there.

Yes, give yourself a little celebration, as each step progresses! Cool

That is good news. [In reply to] Can't Post

That at least something was found - and no major issue was discovered. But what a freak thing that was, to have happened at all. Unsure

You must have been hiking along the shoreline! Ocean or river? What a feast for the eyes and ears! Heart

Happy Matariki! [In reply to] Can't Post

And how perfect it is, to have that kind of a celebration at this time of the year, with the days now growing longer. One might say it's 'heavenly'!

Your special dinner sounds (and smells) heavenly, also! Smile

Sad & glad [In reply to] Can't Post

We know hunter-cats can't help it, it's their instincts, and he wants you to be proud of his catches, and bunnies do have very large litters, but still...it's not quite Gollum catching a brace of coneys for Frodo, is it!

Best of luck with the move! I'm so glad she'll be able to empty a storage unit. But ouch, what a situation she's moving away from! (I seriously hope a divorce is in their future, so the wife can get the kids away from him.)

What, both lawnmowers are declining to do their duty? Shame on them! Have you threatened them with WD-40 and a screwdriver?

a bit of both [In reply to] Can't Post

a slough that parallels the Skagit River and empties into Puget Sound. It's a designated wildlife area & very popular with birders.
