I know no one knows this, but with past experience with LOTR and The Hobbit trailers, when should we expect a trailer?
Maybe already in February? Summer?

We are dealing with Amazon here, so I feel like there's an outside chance they go nuts and release a teaser during the Super Bowl in February. That would generate a lot of buzz for the show, at least in the United States. Certainly we should a trailer by the summer.

It wouldn't even have to be anything special.
Just showing Celebrimbor making the three rings or something and then in the end show Sauron.
Nothing special, but enough to get everyone hooked.

Okay, Tuesday, June 21 is the summer solstice (in the northern hemisphere), roughly equivalent to Midsummer or Mid-year's Day in the Shire Reckoning. This was an important date in Tolkien's works. However, the solstice takes place in Middle-earth during the Lithedays that fall between June and July, so Friday, July 1 might be a good time to expect something.

I don't know if this deserves a separate thread, but since there's already a trailer topic on the first page, I'll post it here instead.
Fellowship of Fans posted this on Twitter yesterday:
re Super Bowl updates:
- Main update since CoF is that the placement booked by Amazon will be referred to as a “teaser” not a “trailer”
-A trailer/ teaser completed since October
- Only confirmed scene is asteroid landing not sure which trailer
- One teaser is 1:30 - 1:40
If this is legit, the first teaser is due in a little less than two weeks. *fingers crossed*
Now now Bill, you swore this was a battle between warriors, not a bunch of miss nancies, so warriors is what I brought
